I know, I just couldn’t get there easier or with less stops. Ach well… living remote has its downsides. It was a complete waste of a long day.
The extra train journey that changed everything was a very very last minute addition… hahaha If I had known locations would change at the beginning of my trip, when I booked the flights I would have gone straight to the Med and probably skipped one of the flights and train. I will go back towards Bordeaux when I start driving slowly back and stay there a bit. Luckily I am flexible when traveling and just go with the flow. It is nice though to meet up with friends I have not seen in years, so truly worth it.
Thanks, I am sure it will be. As it is (mostly) in my control now haha 😊
