To Starting New Journeys!
Oh How Things Have Changed!
Maybe not dramatically in every sense but I sure had one hell of a year and it was stacked full of change!
Firstly... I got married and to top it off we bought a house... So change yes, a lot of change indeed!
Okay so this isn't going to be a post that dives too deep into that at all. This is merely the first traveling post that I am writing up since I got married!
So there is that ey, I am now married and to top that off again we are going on our very first road trip (As a married couple) I mean we've been on quite a few road trips but somehow this one feels a little different!
I absolutely had to share this since it's tied to my new beginnings! And this is to many more to come!
Some Road Trip Photos!
Given I could have taken a lot more photos but I wanted to get some scenery this year that I have not yet gotten in the years passed.
Like this church in Aberdeen, It's actually quite sad that most of these beautifull churches are hidden away in the small towns around the country! That makes me wonder what more is there to discover!?
These old churches really have a big aura around them, the majesticness of it is something else!

Of-course and as always the photos don't do justice of how big and wonderous these mountains look in real life. In photos it's just a meh situation but with the naked eye it really makes one feel tiny!
Yes tiny indeed!

The Cottage In Avondrust!
So before we head down to the seaside we decided to take a short break from that and enjoy some time in the mountains, (well partial mountains) I mean after all we do have to have some sort of honeymoon right?
I think this was the perfect place to stop at! It's sort of located in a low lying valley which I've always been fascinated with! Especially driving past these valleys in the early morning hours seeing the fog bog up at the bottom!
(No photos of that now sorry!)
We also only have the one side of the cottage, but that is no problem since by the looks of it we are all alone here and I assume we will be alone here until check out day, we will have to wait and see on that one.
Other than that it's quiet and peaceful here, only the sound of nature rumbling about!
Peace at its finest

The Two Weirdos!
Well yeah here we are! We should probably get some selfies in since that is one of our weakpoints! I absolutely love taking photos but whenever it boils down to selfies we simply just forget... I mean how even?
So this year we are going to make a point of it getting enough selfies in! Got to lock in those memories!

A Picture from the now WIFE!

I've never been a fan of the skulls hanging on the walls like prized trophies, which is exactly what they are. Like I don't have an issue with it but this colourfull version of it makes it so much better than just a bland skull with horns on the wall.
Like there is some creativity behind it now!

Time To Sign Off For The Day!
Yup no better way to sign the day off that with some wood and flames and nicely cooked meat!
The good old South African way of doing the braai!
When wood is involved the meat tastes nice and smokey! Why do it any other way? Yeah yeah this is pointed towards those that like there gas burners xD! My bad hey!

SOSATIES!
The steak will come on a different night!
Be blessed until the next one!

The Area that we are going to be exploring in for the next three to four days!
MeiringsPoort! One hell of a kloof if you ask me! Scary and exhilarating at the same time!
