Before we reach the hill, we need to crossed this cool river and this is only the bodies of water can found here Manticao, Misamis Oriental. This crystal clear water is very tempting for those who loves to go for a swim. Their are lots of people who came from far places went here and spend time swimming in the clean river and doing picnics. This place is truly a perfect place for picnics and camping sites because of the plain, relaxing and cool sites.
There are also stream connected to the river and one of this is what they called "Sapang Bato". Sapang Bato which means a stony stream is obviously contains lots of big silica rocks and this is only a short line of stream created by the past tornado and big floods. This area is now completely dried and the rocks are covered with moss. This place is very cool because of tall and big trees including those bamboo plants grows on each side of the cliff. This is the only way in order to reach the hills of Makawa, and a great and adventuristic hiking trail is really a must here.
Doing traveling here is very fun and enjoyable because of the cool and relaxing place brought by big and tall trees. Some of the trees can be seen here are Molave, Germilina, Manggo tree and Mahogany in fact this kind of plants is very common and popular here at the Province. If we really talked about Province, this is the first thing comes to our mind, a nice over views, Mountain ranges, rivers and a hills. Thosw big trees grows at the slope side of the hill along with this vast cogon grass and some wild animals like birds flying and making nest on the tree branches. This hill is not only perfect for Hiking, camping and taking Nature photography. It is also a best spot to take wild life pictures because there are lots of wild animals can be seen here.
Some of the houses built here are made of solid concrete but other houses are built with light materials like round lumbers, bamboo pieces and nipa as rooftop. Near the hill is an agricultural land so it will expected to have lots of valuable crops like bananas and coconuts. Aside of that, the slope side of the hill is also perfect for ranch because of lots of grass grows.
This road trail is heading to the small village far from Makawa Hill. Only motorcycles can be accessible here and bikes. This road trail is good for those who like bike and motorcycle trailing, it is also contains pebbles so it needs to be more extra careful by walking here.
From the top of the hill is the great overviews of the Neighboring mountains covered with lots of trees and wild plants. Reaching this place is very tired enough but as we arrived or reach the hill, our travel adventure will be worth it and really have a good time.
