Tons of peebles and big rocks can be seen at the place and it brings an attractiveness of the areas because of its colors, shapes and sizes. Only few parts of the place contains fine sands and the rest are filled with lots of rocks and stones. Backed in the old ages, according to the elders this place was once a dry land were lots of big trees grows that day. After many years has past, the dry land eroded due to big floods and completely submerged to the fresh water leaving this big rocks and peebles. Despite of rocky situations, this area is good for doing camping trips and picnics. The placs is very cool and relaxing because of the large trees left and grows near at the cliff.
This are some of the big trees can be seen and found here at the River and most of the trees grows near at the cliff are Molave, germilina and mahogany trees. It brings coolness of the place and shady areas that can make the areas perfect for camping trips and picnics. Each side of the cliff contains lots of bamboo trees and other kinds of wild plants and it can help the dry land of not being eroded due to heavy rains and flashfloods. This place is very peaceful and quite and the only thing we heard is splashing of water and tweeting of birds. There are also few coconut trees also grows near at the cliff because of the nearby agricultural land were lots of coconuts planted.
This fresh water also contains lots of wild animals like snakes, birds, fish, crabs, shrimps and most of all frogs. Every summer season, lots of frogs swim in the river producing hundreds of eggs in the shallow water. Birds are making the nest on the big branches of the trees and snakes lives in the hole at the cliff. Manticao river hidden lots of wonderful and relaxing sceneries that everyone will like especially those who loves photography and taking lots of pictures about landscapes and wild animals. Crabs are hiding on the big stones and shells also hide under in the fine sands at the river.
For centuries has already past, those dry lands completely eroded and submerged to the fresh water. Lots of big and old hardwood trees also vanished and some of it are submerged to the river bed and some of it are washed away by big floods. This big hardwood trees are now on the river and this was once a dry land. We can truly imagine how big those trunks of the trees and it already soaked in the water many years has already past. Even if there are big floods happens here, still this big trunks of tree still buried at the sands and stones.
This place was once an old cemetery by native people who lived in this place back many years. But the place has already eroded because of the big flood happens here. This big trees was once a ritual areas but it is also falled down to the river. There are lots of trees are nearly fall to the water and the roots are already shown up to the surface. Despite of the situations, this place is also includes as one of the relaxing and perfect to visit especially for those who loves camping trips and picnics. We can truly experienced relaxness and peacefulness of the river.
