This steel bridge is located at Zone 17 and it is built very unique and made of solid steel. If we went in the Sitio, one of the main attraction of the place is the steel bridge in fact their are lots of photographers loves to visit the place taking lots of pictures. This steel bridge holds for motorcycles and bicycles and it is supported with big blocks of solidand very thick concrete, and it built really high so it wont reache by flood.
Every summer season, crystal clear fresh water can be seen here and it will be perfect to swim in the deep parts of the river. Lots of big nd colorful rocks can also be seen here and the time when I do stepping at the water, I felt very relaxing and cool. Native people always went here to washed their clothes and fetched lots of water for their animals and plants. Each side of the cliff contains lots of wild plants and grass, aside of that small twigs re also grows at the place.
Sitio Makawa also contains a stream but it was already dry due to intense heat happens here. I tried to crossed by in this man-made simple bridge made of lots of bamboos tied one another with a rope. Those bamboos are attached to the big trees grows on both side of the cliff. The handle are also made of bamboos and as I started to crossed here, it was a little bit scared but it built very durable and perfectly.
There are few old and big trees can be seen and found here, some of it are Manggoe and acacia trees. This tall, big and wide manggoe tree was grow many years already and it is still standing until now-a-days. Aside of that other big manggoe tree was leaning to the ground due to a strong typhoon happened here. To all native people, this old and big trees are very sacred that is why they did not cut the trees.
As I continued to walked and explored the place, we also passing by in this rocky road. Mostly, wooden cart pulled by Carabao passing by here carrying heavy load of crops to be sell to the market. It leads to the river in order to crossed to the other side of the place.
As we nearly at the place, we also passes by in this old and already abandoned poultry farm built at the middle of the agricultural area. It is made of lumber with some solid concrete that served as a foundation of the structure.
Their Agricultural Land:
Most of the crops and other agricultural plants can be seen and found here are Manggoes and wide places of corn fields. All of the residents are farmers and they owned this land and cultivated. The crops and fruits comes from this plants are sell to the market place. Aside of that, there are also bananas, cassava and camote crops planted here.
The houses made by native people are made of light materials and it is built very unique. It is located at the forestry part of Sitio Makawa and the houses are not really far from each other. It is surrounded with lots of trees and some agricultural plants like coconuts and bananas.
They also owned this coconut drier structure with a local term called, "Landahan". This is the structure were lots of coconuts piled and smoked using coconut husks to make it dry and can easy to remove in the coconut shells. It is made of light materials like round lumbers, bamboo pieces and plainsheets that served as a rooftop.
As part of my travel blog, one of the most catching-eye for me is the 150 year old big jar. I am very amazed of it and it is very unique.
