Good day to all from World Map Pin community, hope all of you are doing fine this lovely weekend. It's been such a long while and I have not completed this series due to lacking of time to put up a post with the photos captured during the trip. Work had been overwhelming for quite a while and never seem to slow down. But I am thankful to be back to share on this amazing Taiwan trip that I had with my wife because this is such a great trip. In today's post, I will be covering a visit to comic museum in Taichung and also a unique street with very nice street painting that reminds us of our childhood. The cover photo is taken at the museum.
Background
This Taiwan trip is a week long trip that I planned with my wife and we went to quite a number of less travelled locations. The trip include many places that most people going to Taiwan will not include in their itinerary and that is why I would want to share it with the community on these amazing places that my wife and I explored.
Join us as we explore the various less mainstream locations in Taiwan.

Street Art of Our Childhood - Animation Lane
Located at Lane 100, Linsen Road, West District of Taichung City lies an amazing hideout where what we see on manga or even video games are being used to decorate the alley. While they are not exactly original artwork, the translation of these artwork to the walls of the alley is no easy work. There are so many artwork of the famous titles that follow us through our younger days and it is certainly a feast for the eyes when we walked into this alley.
And here's the collection of street art that I snapped while I was there at the alley, see which of these brings back your childhood memories.

It is like every corner, as long as it has a decently flat surface, someone will go replicate some famous manga onto it. Really kudos to the effort of the artist whom had been part of making this place such a beauty.

And to make it even more realistic, they even re-created the Totoro Bus Stop from a classic scene in the animation. It felt like time reversed itself to the days when I was watching so many of these animations. This place might not appeal to the masses, but people like me, these animation made up my childhood. And off to the next location.
National Taiwan Museum of Comics
Since I was having loads of memories from my childhood at Animation Alley, why not make this day of comics and animation. Within 4 bus stops away from Animation Alley, it is the National Taiwan Museum of Comics. This place is different from Animation Alley, everything here originates from Taiwan comic artists.
One thing I have to say is that the museum is so surreal, peaceful and beautifully crafted.

The place has heavy Japanese influence be it in the garden, the architecture and even the interior exhibition area.

I really enjoyed discovering more about the history and admiring the beautiful drawings from Taiwan comic artist. Well done and I hope more people can have a chance to look at the artwork!
A simpler day than previous which allow us to busk in and feel arty.
Closing
From the beautiful natures and flowers that we seen in the last post, today's post was more on embracing art and looking at the beautiful artwork by Taiwan artists. A different kind of an experience while travelling which I wanted to share with our community. Hope you'll like it.
Thank you for walking along with me to explore the places I shared today and see you around in the community. See you in my next post on Exploring Taiwan in World Map Pin!
