How nice it is when you're celebrating your birthday, you want to talk about your gifts and BAM! @neuropoeta shows up inviting me with this wonderful initiative [Sunday Miracles], talking precisely about those actions others do for us that brighten our souls 💯 Huge thanks for such a lovely invitation 💞. As I said, it was my birthday, and although I don’t expect many material gifts, it’s always nice to receive something from the people who care about us. This is because we live in a pretty tight economic situation, where we have to choose, eat, and survive before investing in any other expenses out there, so, I understand that people only accompany us with kind wishes. However, this year I received some beautiful gifts that I truly appreciate from my heart. First, because money is life; to earn it, you have to invest time, and time is life, so if someone gives something of material value, what they are really giving you is part of their life. That is why I honor and bless it, hoping that our Lord always provides them with everything, so that they can continue giving life 🎁.
Secondly, the three gifts I received are very much like me. In these past months, with all the activity I’ve had at home, I’ve taken it upon myself to give away all the clothes I don’t wear, especially those from the eternal promise of “for when I’m thinner”; I’ve come to understand that this doesn’t work for me, and if I ever reach my ideal size, I’ll need to buy other clothing items. Therefore, I’m left with few clothes available, but I love them and had in mind to buy some pieces to replace those that have already had their useful time in my closet.

My mother's gift was an 'oversized' set, one of those wide ones that are in style right now, in a color I rarely wear, but when I saw it, it was love at first sight. I had seen them on the shelves, but since it wasn't my priority, I always let it go. Now there's no need to keep seeing it in the shop windows because I already have one that I can wear whenever I want. I'm not really into what's fashionable, but if it's already there, so be it.

The other gift was this T-shirt—GORGEOUS! My neighbor gave it to me, with some handmade details that I loved and that are very pretty. I tend to dress very tropical with colors and patterns, so this T-shirt helps me complete some looks I have in mind for the various celebrations coming up in December.

The other gift I received was from a person who started out as my clothing seller and today I consider her my friend. She is a very spiritual person and with just her presence, joy, and words, she spreads the love of God. Her way of being has won us over because, even though we still have business dealings with clothing sales, we can meet and sit down to talk, and everything goes so smoothly as if we had known each other for years. She sells very fashionable clothes, I have bought several outfits from her that I love, and with her, I have learned to let go of certain pieces to make way for others and understand what looks good on my body. That is why she didn’t just give me a pair of shorts, she gave me knowledge, love, and well-being, because beauty should be holistic, both inside and out. The gift is not the gift itself, but what it brings with it.

Another type of gift I received was virtual. We could be hundreds of kilometers apart, but the time someone takes to write a message, post a status, or make a video call, I assure you, are gifts I cherish in my heart, because we are also talking about their time and the privacy of statuses dedicated to me. There was a time when it was fashionable for every greeting to be posted as a status so that all contacts could see their greeting there; I gave in to it once, but now I just want to say thank you. I won’t post them all here, but I can tell you that the kind words, the images people create, the beautiful videos, are simply a gift that is hard to forget.

As an anecdote, I can tell you that I have an elderly friend who makes very beautiful and popular videos in my community. People always ask her for videos, but she has eye problems, so being on the screen for a long time harms her, and she stopped making them. She only makes them for special people, and I am one of them, so I am grateful not only that she does it but also for the miracle of her health that allows them to turn out super beautiful.

My gift from the man I like ❤️, is both material and spiritual, because we will see each other very soon, and we will do it through a trip to celebrate our birthdays, since we spent them apart, and the anniversary of when we met—ALL IN ONE! It's a wonderful gift that I didn't expect and that I accept with all my heart because, as I said before, he can spend his money on whatever he wants and he chooses to do it with me, so soon I’ll bring you news about this trip of love and celebration ✈️.

As a final thought, material gifts are just as nice and important as spiritual ones, because both are filled with emotion, affection, and love. Receiving them is a sign of the appreciation that those around you have for you 🎁💞. I made the cover, the banner, and the divider in Canva. The photographs are my property.
