Yo quiero aclarar que no soy un Grinch (ni siquiera he visto la película), pero a mí no me gusta la Navidad, Y ANTES DE QUE ME JUZGUEN, acá las razones:
Muy bien lo expresas que diciembre es una época de pausa. El recuerdo más vivo que tengo es que año tras año venían mis tíos queridos de la capital. Cuando fui adulta, era yo la que preparaba todo para que pudieran estar bien. Ya por su edad no vienen, entonces ¿A quién espero?
Recuerdo que mi comunidad se llenaba de visitantes de otros estados y por ende, siempre estábamos a la expectativa de qué nos vamos a poner de vestido o como vamos a celebrar esa noche. La migración ha tocado duro y hoy incluso tenemos son casas vacías, familias entera fuera y vecinos que ni conocemos ¿Con quién celebramos?
Mi árbol de Navidad ¡Se llenaba de regalos para mis sobrinos! Disfrutábamos ver su inmensa alegría al romper los regalos, desesperarse porque no sabían cuál tomar, enamorarse hasta del papel que los envolvían porque pensaban que todo era un regalo 😁. Ahora, mis sobrinos crecieron y se encuentran fuera; no tenemos a quién alardear en el árbol.

Desde hace un tiempo, tengo la gratitud de contar con mi J. J. y él me ha devuelto el espíritu navideño de una manera que comenzamos meses antes a visualizar lo que haremos en Navidad 😊.
Lo bueno es que somos 4 personas y nos adaptamos a los planes (la familia creció) como por ejemplo: dónde pasaremos las fiestas y siempre vemos si hacemos algo fuera de lo común, como un viaje. Menos mal que tenemos los mismos gustos y nos ponemos de acuerdo rápido 😉.

Él es muy hogareño y tiene una familia como de 20 personas (sin meter tías, primos y todo el que se vaya agregando 🙃), así que hasta un desayuno es una fiesta dentro de esa casa. Nosotros nos reímos, pasamos el rato, nos alistamos para esa salida a la playa, y todas esas cosas que se hacen en familia y en Navidad, así que siempre estamos ocupados en esas celebraciones.
Este año, viajaremos a donde su familia, que les cuento que no me esperan a mí o a él, sino a mi mamá 😊. Mi mamá se lleva muy bien con todos, así que disfrutan de su compañía, atenderla y pasar un rato con ella. Definitivamente, eso es un regalo que atesoro porque escucho cada historia de terror, que doy gracias por tanto amor hacia ella, de hacerla sentir como en casa.
He is very homey and has a family of about 20 people (not counting aunts, cousins, and anyone else who joins 🙃), so even a simple breakfast is a party in that house. We laugh, hang out, get ready for that trip to the beach, and do all those things families do at Christmas, so we are always busy with those celebrations.
