Este año le ganamos una batalla a la distancia y pude reunirme con mi amada madre; sin duda, este fue el mejor regalo que pude tener en este día especial. Abrazar a mi mamá y compartir un día bonito junto a mi hijo, mis hermanas, mi papá y mi esposo es algo que me hizo inmensamente feliz y me recargó el corazón.
Tenía un par de años sin pasar este día con mi mamá, aunque mi corazón siempre está junto a ella, pero este año me esforcé el doble para lograrlo. Mi mamá es un ser muy especial, tiene una gran personalidad y aunque parece ser una persona de carácter fuerte, tiene un corazón inmensamente noble; ella lo da todo por su familia y nosotros lo damos todo por ella.
Ser madre es la manifestación más bonita de lo que significa el amor, el amor verdadero e incondicional, ese amor que nunca se apaga a pesar de los errores y desaciertos que podemos cometer. Mamá siempre está ahí, sin importar qué; cómo quisiera poder devolverle todo ese amor que manifiesta hacia nosotros de alguna manera. Agradezco mucho a Dios esta oportunidad de pasar este día tan especial junto a ella y sé que ella también estuvo muy feliz de verme y de compartir junto a su nieto.
Angel estaba feliz de estar junto a sus abuelos; él siempre los extraña y pregunta por ellos cada día. Amé que pasaran este día juntos, que jugaran un rato y que él, con su inocencia y ocurrencias, les sacara una sonrisa.
El día estuvo perfecto; además, estábamos doblemente emocionados porque celebramos los 15 años de mi sobrina Luisana. Nos reunimos el sábado para celebrar su vida y continuamos el domingo, disfrutando de una rica torta y un delicioso sancocho de gallina; nada como saborear esa sopa con sabor a hogar.
Ahora, ya estoy en casa y siento que llegué con una energía diferente, con ánimos de continuar y seguir adelante en mis metas y sueños, impulsada siempre por ese motor de vida que me llama mamá y que me inyecta mucha energía con sus besos.
Espero que todas las madres de Hive hayan pasado un día increíble; se merecen todo lo bonito. Las felicito, las abrazo y les agradezco porque las experiencias que comparten en la comunidad se traducen en enseñanzas.
This year, we overcame the distance, and I was able to reunite with my beloved mother; without a doubt, this was the best gift I could have received on this special day. Hugging my mom and spending a lovely day with my son, my sisters, my dad, and my husband made me immensely happy and filled my heart with joy.
It had been a couple of years since I’d spent this day with my mom, even though my heart is always with her, but this year I worked twice as hard to make it happen. My mom is a very special person; she has a wonderful personality, and although she seems to have a strong character, she has an immensely noble heart; she gives her all for her family, and we give our all for her.
Being a mother is the most beautiful expression of what love truly means—true, unconditional love, the kind of love that never fades, no matter what mistakes or missteps we may make. Mom is always there, no matter what; I wish I could somehow repay her for all the love she shows us. I am so grateful to God for this opportunity to spend this special day with her, and I know she was also very happy to see me and spend time with her grandson.
Angel was happy to be with his grandparents; he always misses them and asks about them every day. I loved that they spent the day together, played for a while, and that he, with his innocence and wit, brought a smile to their faces.
The day was perfect; plus, we were doubly excited because we were celebrating my niece Luisana’s 15th birthday. We got together on Saturday to celebrate her life and continued on Sunday, enjoying a delicious cake and a tasty chicken stew; there’s nothing like savoring that soup that tastes like home.
Now that I’m home, I feel like I’ve arrived with a new sense of energy, eager to keep moving forward toward my goals and dreams, always driven by that force of life that calls me “Mom” and fills me with energy through her kisses.
I hope all the moms at Hive had an amazing day; you deserve all the best. I congratulate you, send you a hug, and thank you because the experiences you share in the community translate into valuable lessons.
