Star Trek: Discovery Season 1, Episode 3 Movie Review

in Movies & TV Shows6 days ago

Hello friends, how are you all? Today, I am sharing my impressions of Star Trek: Discovery, Season 1, Episode 3. I hope you like it. Usually, these types of movie reviews or movies are liked by those who want adventure, action, and 9 sections altogether; this movie is a great gift for them.

I had a little mixed feeling when I saw the beginning of this series. I didn't feel like it was a rush type like the previous episodes, but rather a little slow. But that's not a problem, because as time went on, the story slowly started to take a mysterious direction, which is the main attraction of a movie or series that I like.

So the most important thing we see is that the biggest change in this episode is the journey on the new ship USS Discovery. The first thing that catches your eye is that this ship is different. There is no "familiar calm atmosphere of Starfleet" like before. Rather, there is a suppressed tension in everything, as if something is hidden.

Michael Burnham is seen adapting to the new environment in this episode. It is clear that he still has the pressure of the previous incident inside him. He doesn't talk much, but a thought is always working in his eyes. It seems that he himself doesn't understand where he stands right now.

Captain Gabriel Lorca is honestly a little strange in this episode. The good thing is that he is very confident, and he doesn't delay in making decisions. But the bad thing is that his real purpose is not understood. Is he actually on the right track, or is he running things his own way?

And Tilly—this character brings a little light feeling to me. She is not perfect, a little nervous, a little chaotic, but she seems like a very real person. This type of character creates a balance in the series. Which she expressed very well through her character.

Speaking of Stamets, he is completely a man of the scientific world. His thinking is not like that of ordinary people; it is a little different. His work with the spore drive will lead to big things in the future.

Saru is once again in his own right. He is always a little scared, but that fear is his strength. He is important to the team because he can sense danger early.

The main part of this episode is finding a mysterious ship. From here, the story takes a new direction. To be honest, my interest increases when I come to this place. Because now it seems like some big events are coming.

As always, the visual aspect was quite good. The space shots, the dark atmosphere inside the ship, and the background music all created a suppressed suspense in my mind.

All in all, this episode was not interesting from the beginning, but it gradually builds its own place. What I liked most was the mystery and the relationship between the characters that gradually developed. Which I think is the basic structure of a movie or series.

And yes, to be honest, this is the type of episode that, even if you don't say "wow" after watching it, it's nice to think about it later.
