It's a ridiculous movie that will appeal only to the right kind of person. I come from a background where almost all horror films were low budget and relied on lighting and creative use of prosthetics in order to make a film feel gory and scary. I don't think this movie is good in the overall sense, but if you can appreciate how someone can take something beloved from cartoons and make it a bit spooky with very little money, to me, that is enjoyable.
