RE: Mandalorian and Grogu (Spoilers)

I've heard others compare it to a video game with a series of missions. It may just be a bit violent for young kids. That Shakiri world was a bit Blade Runner, but then that has influenced so much. I may have enjoyed it more than you did, but then my expectations may be different.

Sort:

I initally got a Blade Runner vibe from it, but then it seemed way more New York, especially with Martin Scorseses character.

Don't get me wrong, there were good moments, but a lot of missed opputunity.

I went into the film excited about having the first new Star Wars film in a long time, but it seemed like they didn't really give it all they had.

Apparently it is the lowest grossing star wars film released, which is a big tell on where the franchise is at. If after this long without a cinema release they can't russle up a major audience then that's not great, and is proof of their mismanagement of the franchise
