RE: I want to become a beekeeper! - World of honey - Sunflower honey.

in LeoFinance12 hours ago

It is a rewarding activity beekeeping i worked with bees on a farm we had 10 sites with 5 beehives at each, we use to produce a lot of flavoursome honey due to the variety of nectar in the area.

I have considered doing it for myself also this year it will be totally worth it, just waiting for the wife to get better then i'm on it.

@barski do it my friend it is easy to learn and you can join a beekeeping association for support.

I don't think I'll start beekeeping with a large number of hives. I think four hives on each of my two plots, 50 km apart, will be enough to start. I plan to start by catching swarms and making polystyrene hives to minimize start-up costs until I'm sure it's something I'm willing to dedicate enough time and money to.
I wish you a constant abundance of honey plants and a Varroa-mite-free hive! :)
