Bright colors, convenience and insight.
Sometimes, insight, understanding the true position of things familiar to us is like the turning point between winter and spring, when the ice on the rivers breaks with a crash and begins to move.
Something like an answer to an old question comes when studying the views of beekeeping from different sides.
For example, many beekeepers who are engaged in breeding queen bees complain that when the queen bee flies around with drones, she does not return, she is eaten by birds, bees, shrikes, rollers.
And this was considered as a lottery, whether you are lucky or not.
And I thought so, but today I saw an interesting interview with a beekeeper who drew attention to the fact that birds, as a rule. ate those queen bees that he marked with a certain color marker.
In the beekeeping environment, each year corresponds to a certain color of the bright, luminescent dot on the back of the queen bee, which is drawn for the convenience of the beekeeper.
This way the beekeeper can determine the age of the queen bee and understand when exactly this queen bee should be replaced with a new one.
So, the beekeeper noticed that those queen bees that he did not have time to mark with a marker successfully bled and returned to the hive, being already young queen bees.
It turns out that by making our life easier in some way, we can complicate it many times lol.

Material thoughts about beekeeping №1
When I visited dense forests, I did not see ideal conditions for bees there, but many beekeepers harvest beekeeping products in such places.
