I had to meet people who liked to write down wise sayings and proverbs in a notebook and blindly followed them.
Yes, for example, in their lives the following proverbs were in the first place: "We do not look for easy ways" and "He who does not want to do something, looks for a reason not to do it, and he who wants to do something, looks for an opportunity to do it."
Moreover, all those who did not fit into this were branded as loafers and parasites.
This is strange, because in their notebooks, I think, one could find proverbs: "A smart person will not go up the mountain, a smart person will go down the drain" and "Measure seven times, cut once."
And at that time, when you think, it is better not to do anything, just stand still and look for simpler ways to solve the problem.
My grandmother used to say that whoever plants a crown in the mud will become a prince, in my native language the words prince and mud rhyme.
But, I'll tell you a secret, this works extremely rarely, maybe something will come out, but not a princely crown on the head lol.
