So, this happened.
My friend, project co-pilot, and fellow Hive troublemaker @tydynrain casually drops a comment like āHey, maybe we should build a few Discord servers for our projectsā¦ā and before he could even finish brushing his teeth, BAM š„ ā three shiny new servers were born.
Apparently, this is what I do for fun now š
Let me break it down for you, Hive-style:
1. MMB ā Maximum Mutual Benefits (Yes, We're Doing This Again. For Real This Time.)
This oneās been a long time coming.
MMB is our big-picture, community-first meta-project thatās been marinating in the background while life threw curveballs like a drunk baseball pitcher on a Red Bull bender. I'm talking loss of close friends, life chaos, near burnout, and of course, Hiveās very own troll circus with their Olympic-level downvoting skills. ššš
But we're back. Not because itās easy. Not because itās convenient. But because this project still matters. If you're into collaboration, mutual growth, and not being a jerk, this is where the real convos will start happening again.
This Discord is the new control center for MMB. Two-way communication, updates, brainstorming, maybe some memes. Let's build smarter, not louder.
2. HiveTippingBots ā Like a Spa for Your Broken Bot
Look, tipping bots are amazing... until they break. And then? Absolute chaos.
This server is a resource hub and support group for bot owners, coders, and everyone stuck yelling āWHY IS IT STILL TIPPING FROM LAST MONTH?ā into the digital abyss.
We needed a single space where tipping bot people could:
Troubleshoot
Share tips (no pun intended)
Coordinate downtimes
Actually improve stuff instead of hoping the code fairy shows up in the night (it's not me!)
Think of it as the Geek Squad for your tipping botsāwithout the overpriced warranty.
3. Botlord ā Where I Build Weird Stuff That Might Just Save Hive Someday
This oneās a little selfish. š
Botlord is the central spot for all the dev work Iām doing on Hive. Because letās be realāthereās a lot of it. And most of it flies under the radar until something or someone (mostly me!) breaks it.
Whether youāre a dev, power user, idea machine, or just someone who wants to lurk and watch the sausage get made, this server is for you.

Feature ideas
Bug reports
That one guy always asking for dark mode on everything
This server gives the community a direct line into my workflowāand maybe a chance to shape whatās coming next.
āBut Bjorn, Why Discord? I Thought We Were Anti-Silos?ā
Yes, I know. Trust me, Iām not Discordās #1 fan either. I miss forums. I miss structured threads. I miss Web 1.0ās golden years when things made sense and you could use a browser without 43 tabs and a privacy policy longer than Moby Dick.
But the Hive community also lives on Discord for quick communication right now. So if we want to actually get things done together, this is where we show up.
And hey, weāre gonna keep it lean. No 400-channel confusion. Just real conversation, focused rooms, and as little fluff as possible.
TL;DR for the Lazy Scrollers:
I built three new Discord servers last night like some kind of coding maniac.
One for MMB, one for Tipping Bots, and one for Botlord Dev Stuff.
They're all open, and designed to make Hive communication less of a dumpster fire.
