5 years of patience really paid off! 👏 It’s inspiring to see how you stuck through the ups and downs even with hurricanes, rent drops, and all the setbacks and still came out with over 80% profit. That’s huge, especially since you also gained the experience.

I really like how you mentioned “detaching feelings” from the investment when it was time to sell. That’s such an important mindset for long-term investors. Reinvesting part of the profits into Mexico sounds like an exciting next step too.

Yeah, even for those who do trading, it is even more important to have this "detachment" mindset.

I actually was hoping to sell it when I get my ROI through rent; but since this property is obviously on a higher risk side though the location value has increased I think partly also because of the election, I better take the 80% profit and then repeat the cycle on new uncharted waters. 😁

Malaysians are eligible to invest once KYC is done properly, though on the down side, but the up side is that because the amount is so small can barely tax also.
