AHHH indeed, a VPN, perhaps I should've used one as well. I sometimes do, since some websites are blocked in my country. But then you have these fancy services detecting VPNs. Once detected, permanent block. MEXC account I created last Monday suddenly wanted me to KYC when I logged on yesterday. A process that wasn't instant. I received a notification hours after the 2nd round IDO stating I wasn't approved. Something to do with not clear photographs.
anyways...
My country is getting more and more restricted in terms of crypto. Well, not restricted, but our laws are quite tough in terms of anti-money laundering and licenses required to operate crypto services. As a result, most of the companies decide to leave, the Netherlands is too small a country to comply with those laws and simply restrict usage for its residents.
Can't imagine how it must be to be in Cuba. I certainly hope Cuba and any other market will see the light of day and change their rules so that everybody can access everything on the big wide Internet. One tiny positivity here: Cuba isn't restricting HIVE so it seems 🙃
