Hello dear community,
Once again, a solo miner has been lucky enough to generate a block and receive 3.12 BTC.
I've been reading about such lucky people more often lately, perhaps because there seem to be more and more solo miners simply trying their luck. Sure, most of them come away empty-handed, but the more people participate, the higher the probability that one will succeed, and thus the more often you hear about it.
But that doesn't change the fact that as a solo miner, you have a very small chance of success. It's about as high as winning the lottery jackpot. The probability in the former depends on the hashrate used and in the latter, of course, on the number of tickets purchased.
Hmm, is there a way to do this with old cell phones? I have a few lying around ;)

schon wieder hat ein Solominer Glück gehabt und einen Block generiert und so 3,12 BTC erhalten.
Habe in letzter Zeit öfter von solchen Glückspilzen gelesen, liegt vielleicht daran, dass es scheinbar immer mehr Solominer gibt, die Ihr Glück einfach versuchen. Klar, die meisten gehen leer aus, aber je mehr mitmachen, desto höher ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass einer es schafft und man somit öfter davon hört.
Aber das ändert nichts daran, dass man als Solominer eine sehr geringe Chance hat. Die ist so hoch in etwa wie den Lottojackpot zu knacken. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit beim ersteren hängt von der eingesetzten Hashrate ab und beim zweiteren natürlich von der Anzahl abgegebener Tipps.
Hmm gibt es eine Möglichkeit, das mit alten Handys zu machen? Da hätte ich paar von rumliegen ;)
