Solana’s Seeker Phone Ships with Built-In SOL Staking — No Fees & One-Tap Rewards

in LeoFinance2 days ago

Solana Mobile’s Seeker phone has officially started shipping to over 50 countries, with 150,000 units pre-ordered at a price point of $450–$500. Designed specifically for active Solana users, the device introduces built-in mobile staking powered by SOL Strategies, the exclusive validator operator. Users can stake their SOL directly from the phone and receive rewards with zero fees on staking yields and MEV tips, ensuring every earned token goes to holders with no cut taken by validators.

The Seeker also includes an integrated Seed Vault hardware wallet from SolFlare, secured with biometric authentication, enabling safe on-device key storage and seamless transaction signing. Solana Mobile has bundled a Genesis token (soulbound to each device) and a proprietary SKR ecosystem token to incentivize user participation. The built-in Solana dApp Store now supports over 100 apps, offering users native access to staking, DeFi, NFTs, and more—all via the Mobile Wallet Adaptor.

The phone’s hardware specs include a 6.36-inch AMOLED display, 8 GB RAM, Mediatek Dimensity 7300 chip, and a 4,500 mAh battery—positioning it as a lighter, more affordable version of the Saga. Solana Mobile emphasizes usability improvements over the original Saga, simplifying transaction approvals to fingerprint and single-click confirmations without compromising security. The Seeker aims to democratize on-chain transactions and staking by removing friction and delivering a crypto-native experience tailored for everyday use.
