Oven bacon is just easier cooking, clean up and even cooking. I do 400 degrees ferinhet 15 minutes one side then flip and bake for another 5 minutes. Perfect crispy bacon.

That sounds like the sweet spot, the smell alone makes me think your bacon is doing it's happy dance. Do you use a rack or lay it right on the sheet?

I use tin foil for easy clean up. No rack.
