In one of his stand up Comedy Chris Rock made a statement that made me really sad for all men. They're treated differently in general to women, children and surprisingly even dogs.
Most of the ladies only love a dude if they get something in return.

Although he was telling a funny story, I think he was really telling the truth. I have spent some time thinking about this statement he made. I didn't do it intensively, but just enough for it to stick in my head when I was washing dishes this morning.
When a woman has a baby, when a male is a child or a baby, when a dog is born, everyone loves that person just for being there. But for the men, they have to do something first before they get love.
What I've observed is that nobody really says it. It’s something that's just there. It’s just what you’ve been raised with and have been taught. You’re like everyone else and so you don’t question what you were taught because everyone else was taught the same thing and they don’t question it either.
For the guys, if you were to calculate how much you are worth as a person, it would be equal to the number of things you have handled recently. If you are handling things, then you are seen as a good person. If you are not handling things, then you get a different kind of silence and even disrespect from people.
I’m not saying this to be critical or to complain, why would I, I'm not even a boy, but I’m just saying this to point out the fact that it is true and I haven’t seen it too many times out on the internet.
If you are a dude that is struggling, people are being careful with how they love you. They’ll wait to see what you do next before giving you any accolades for your last accomplishment. This is just the universal truth we live in today. Cold and practical. Unconditional love for women, children and dogs. Everyone else is on a contract.
But even for the women to be fair, it's the value guys get from them that makes it appear that they're also loved unconditionally too.
