Let's not keep lying to ourselves.
I have learned to listen to the voices of people who encourage you, who support you and propose solutions and alternatives, or who give you constructive criticism because they believe in you, and far from holding you back, it drives you to continue.
And although there will always be people who criticize us and want to throw stones in our way, to make us feel "useless", or useful, the important thing is what we think about ourselves.
This can always help to clarify the situation and understand the motivation behind that statement... Pay attention to the context, when they tell you, or you feel not very usable.
The best thing about everything, Galenkp, is that I always persist! 👍 I try as much as possible when I am at a disadvantage for emotional, physical and hormonal reasons or no matter how frustrated or depressed I am: to be kind to myself, I focus on small achievements, and if this does not work for me, I ask for help.
Although we are all useless, under certain circumstances... For example, when I have been physically disabled due to having, a couple of years ago, a triple fracture in my left foot, I fell so many times practicing walking with crutches, that I became an expert who went up and down stairs even faster than those who were in perfect condition...
With this, and so many health experiences, by "temporary" physical and emotional disabilities.
It feels so good, when fake people stop talking to you, those people who want to make you feel useless, it's like the garbage will take itself out, that's when I understand that there are more useless people than I could be.
