You said it perfectly, how terrible it would be to leave this world and try to control even other people's memories after we die, haha. I believe it's good to do things as well as possible for our own personal satisfaction while we're alive, and also so as not to hinder the lives of others. Once we're dead, nothing will matter to the memory of those who have passed away.
