This was an experience that was worthy of a story and would not have been so shocking even in fiction. When politics mixes with work, these types of situations arise,which often do not end well.

You know, I spent many years working for the government and there were indeed times when I saw things that were appalling.
One of them, was the ideological persecution, that they mounted against some people, especially this was done by people who were part of the Francisco de Miranda Front.
Truly, a good book and a series of stories could be made out of all those experiences, in fact that is what I do here, when I narrate my experiences.
Although I must also say that there were and there are very good and very professional people in the institutions and ministries where I worked.
But you are right, when ideology and politicking get into the job, it is a very negative experience,
