Hello My Friends, Hivians and Rising Star Game players
It's been really a long time since my last post about Rising Star, more than a half year ago. The last time I posted about this game, it was the day when I accompanied my late father to hospital and that's the last day I spoke to him.
So it is very hard to me to start posting about this game again, because part of me somehow wants me to stop posting about this topic. It brings many thoughts and memories that make me lose focus on writing.
Today it is different... I do not want to re-tell the story about @stickupboys, I only wish him the best for the future. If someone can not see any future in HIVE, or maybe feel suppressed here, maybe leaving HIVE is not a bad idea, the bad idea is keeping themselves here and gets more corrupted with bad and negative thoughts.
Being happy and feel free are more important!
But that situation made me reconsidering my decision to not write any Rising Star Game post, like maybe... I should try to start over again...
So let me start over with today topic, which I pick this from a question that some old friends several times asked this to me
WHY DO YOU STILL PLAYING RISING STAR?
ok let me make this post as the answer for that question
EITHER IT'S FUN OR IT BECOMES A HABIT
That's the real answer for that question. I like clicking or perhaps it has become a habit of mine. Everyday before I pack my laptop, I click the billionaire mission. When at office, I will take the one or two hour mission. One mission before I drive my car back to home. And Play some mission late night while playing Splinterlands too.
It is a habit or it is a fun? Well I don't know, one thing I know that if I stop playing Rising Star, I might end up looking up a new game and possibly a web 2 one, the pay to win, and end up paying some bucks to have fun.
I can understand if people get bored with this game and leave after some months or maybe a few years after playing this game. All game have their lifecycle, it is impossible to get excited with the same thing over and over... unless if you are a die hard grinder like me.
However I believe the reason many leave this game because they can not make any profit from this game. It is not like they do not earn anything here, it is more on what they have earnt, aren't worth for their time and effort.
Yes based on the earning, it has dropped a lot. The daily starbits I get is not even worthy for my time, if I measure this game as a money making machine. But for a game, or some killing time, this game is still ok.
Anyway after more than 3 years playing this game, where am I now in this game? I am not a big guy in this game, not an OG at all, but I am not someone that is nobody anymore. You can see below where I am now in the leaderboard
I am rank #67 and I am happy seeing Clove, Trenton Lundy, and SUB are still on top 3. I believe they love this game very much. I do not see Foxon there anymore, sometime it makes me sad because he was one of our Idol years ago.
There I am sitting on #67. I get 0.031 $HIVE per day, or near 1 $HIVE per month. This is one of the reason why I can understand why many players have left this game. It is the fact that most people come to blockchain games solely for the money.
Other than Hive rewards, I get 0.02 DRIP per day, or 0.6 DRIP per month. Not something that special, regarding DRIP is very depended on Splinterlands NODE.
So here I am now, and where are you guys? Are you in top 100 too? Or maybe still on top 500? Do let me know and keep on busking yo! You might be big someday!

Time really flies fast, I never imagine this song has become something that came from 10 years ago. I used to hear this song a lot regarding I like Electric Dance Music.
In that movie video, the main vocalist was Iselin Solheim. During Alan Walker tour in some region, he had different main vocalist picked from the local or regional stars. You can find their live music videos and each of them has a different vibes.
My favorite one is Julian Wu, maybe because I am an Asian so I pick her over the others LoL
