Today I wanted to write one of those thoughtful articles I sometimes like to write, so you still have time to stop reading if you're not interested in these types of personal posts. The topic to reflect on is beauty.

Beauty is in itself an absurd thing because it depends on the person who looks at it and not on the person who possesses it, if they possess it at all. Furthermore, it's something that, in principle, is ephemeral and has an expiration date. All roses wither, as they say. So, there's not much point in worrying about something you can't control, something that doesn't even depend on you, something that time will destroy.
However, people are constantly concerned about their beauty, and I'm not talking about making themselves pretty, elegant, or clean. I'm not talking about getting surgery, Botox, or expensive creams that serve no purpose. And all of that for what? To please others who will change their minds in an instant?
As I said at the beginning, beauty is an absurd thing.
