I Picked Up This Deal Last Week
I was scrolling through Facebook Marketplace and noticed this listing.
It was listed for €75, so I figured that either...
- There were individual prices in the description.
- The bundle had already been bought.
- Or, that it was some sort of scam/ troll.
Luckily, none of the above were true, and upon messaging regarding it, the seller got back promptly and we organised a day for me to collect it.
Here is the AT-TE
This is a vehicle I always wanted when I was a kid, but around the time of its release I was getting out of collecting/ playing with toys.
I always did kind of want it though.
It's deadly, and it's a very bulky thing. I have no idea where I'm going to put it, as my shelf space is full, but I'll figure it out.
With the press of a button, the back of it opens automatically to reveal a play area.
There are tons of playability with this set, and there are so many seats for troops throughout.
This is missing 3 of its six missiles, but I do have the missile of the main cannon. Sadly, however, the mechanism doesn't seem to catch when the missile is loaded, so I'm going to see about taking it apart and trying to fix it.
Here is the AT-AT.
It's the legacy collection version which released in either 2009/ 2010, and it's the exact one I bought a few months ago.
This one is in good nick, apart from a bit of discolouration, which isn't really a major issue.
I'm actually thinking of selling this, even though I'd like to have two, but I just don't have the space.
They go for about €160, maybe more, and if it sells for around that, I basically double my money and get to keep the rest for free.
Here is the Fighter Tank
It's the 501st variant and is missing two missiles, a top gun, and a side gun, which is a shame, but it's in good shape and wouldn't take much to complete.
Here's the Cloud Car
This is a cool ship and is part of the Legacy Collection that was released around the same time as the AT-AT.
It is in good shape, but it's missing two of the four missiles, which isn't a major issue.
If you push the two cockpits together, some second missiles are revealed, which is a cool feature.
It wouldn't be my favourite ship of the franchise, but it's still fairly cool, and something I don't mind hanging onto, or selling. I'm easy either way.
Those are a few of the new additions, but I do have some other cool things to showcase in some upcoming posts of this nature.
I do get deals and do a bit of flipping on the side, mainly to fund the stuff I really like collecting, but when it comes to Star Wars in general, I'm happy to keep it all, especially if I get a deal this good.
My mindset when it comes to buying, selling, and trading is, if it's something I'm already interested in, I'll buy it, because if it doesn't sell, I'm not exactly "stuck" with the items.
Sure, I could probably make more cash by focusing on other things, but then I could get lumped with a load of stuff I don't like or want.
