I despise downvotes!
There is an option "not to vote in the first place" or "just ignore a user's post". So, it's the duty of the curator to check the post before curating. For the autovote service, they need to check for the post after a certain period to see any criminality!
Playing an "authority" here when we are boasting about HIVE's free speech on Web 2, just hypocrisy!

the problem is that you have also lazy curation on Hive. Those who read that see the problem. You as a Hive stakeholder should be concern if the rewards are going for people who abuse the system. We are all responsible to get these... If you just care about your rewards and Hive stake you can see the blockchain going towards the mud.
On top of that downvote is there as part of your free will the same that upvote. If you don't like my comment for example you can just downvote it is your choice!
