Hello to all the friends and followers of this wonderful "Amazingnature" - "AN" - "Community":  It is always a pleasure to be able to share with everyone the photographs we took on one of our last walks in the reserve that is a couple of blocks from home.

In this part of the world we are having a rather rainy ¨spring¨, although it is common for this to happen, this year it has been much more intense, and if you pay attention in the first photographs you will see the meadow completely green; the constant rains have filled the ponds with water and we could see the ¨eggs¨ of the ¨snails¨: ; every time I come across this beautiful spectacle I remember my childhood, when I thought they were¨eggs¨-of-¨toad¨:  I don't know if this has also happened to you, of being so wrong; That's why I like to take photographs of the things I see to investigate, you can't imagine how much you learn this way

I always say that I am blessed to have this beautiful natural space, where I can come with my family to spend the day, enjoy the wildlife and natural beauty of this lovely reserve. Another sign that we are having a rainy "spring" is the presence of these "plants":  in one of the ponds here. This species, in addition to its beautiful flowers, contributes a lot to the ecosystem because its flowers are pollinated by bees, and as you know, this is very good for the development of the fruits of the vegetables that feed us.

¨Hibiscus¨:

What I like most about walking the trails on the property is when we discover something to photograph, analyze, and learn about. My granddaughter was the one who discovered this bird's nest, and since she wanted to know what kind of bird that beautiful little house belonged to, we took several photos to research it on the web. It turns out that it is a beautiful ¨bird¨:  that is native to this area of the world, and since it is an excellent builder, it makes beautiful nests from sticks that it collects from the ground

This has been a great walk, we found beautiful things that led us to do several investigations on the web, that is why I love these ¨scientific¨ walks:  that we do in this natural space. Almost at the end of our walk I came across this ¨planta¨:  that because of its name I don't think it needs an introduction, what I do want to tell you is that it is an ¨edible¨:  plant and that many things can be prepared with it, if you want to know, just click on the link. What a joy it is to have visited the reserve and taken this beautiful walk in the company of my loved ones

Feliz lunes!
