Hello LMAC and Hive members. I wanted to share with you my current freestyle collage. My theme entails a canine pet that belonged to a master architect and builder.
Everyone in the construction industry knew Felix.
For years, Felix traveled with his owner whenever he attended a job site. Directing the workers was his favorite task. Always careful to stay out of trouble, he wore his favorite protective hat as he meandered through the site. He even warned workers if danger was present.
The workers took time to show him the newest additions to the city they were building. Murals of local artists lined the city walls. A large pond for marine species. An animal park. Gardens to wander about. Behind the city wall was a variety of eateries. Lastly, museums lined the historical section of the city.
Felix was overwhelmed at the life-size statute of himself in the middle of the town square. And it featured his perfect past time...him sitting while watching activities around him.
Of course, he'd be mentioned in the architecture credits.
When completed, Felix was ecstatic with the design and attribution. He sat back and complemented himself, thinking, "I Helped Build That!".
My style of collage is a Freestyle. Although I usually do, I wasn't required to utilize any contest photo in my design. However, if you'd like to join in the current contest visit: # Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 246 - ✨50 HIVE in the Prize Pool!.
In preparing my theme, my initial thought was to locate a futuristic city design. I found the perfect one, then duplicated it so that the faces are opposite each other. I also included a pure fractal I created in the fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X that resembled a bird bath.

I utilized Canva to blend the different type images. Below are my steps in which I began with a blank, white canvas, then added layers of elements, removing backgrounds, resizing, detaching elements from their backgrounds, duplicating, colorizing, and repositioning items as needed incorporating the tools at my disposal in my Annual Pro Membership Subscription.
