Working has become a normal thing for us, because that is what makes us who we are and it also gives us the opportunity to make a living. There is this circulation that says - No food for a lazy man. That means that if you don't work, you won't eat . How do you see a lazy farmer who sits around and just discusse about rubbish with children when other farmers are going to work? Every one will actually laugh at him because he will definitely have nothing to eat. When others are going for harvest, he will not have any food for himself or even his family.
I said that to say this: Working gives us humans joy and satisfaction. If you don't love working, then you may end up dying out of hunger. When I saw this topic amongst other, I decided to go for it because I love working and I think it will be very good to talk about it here at this particular timing.
MY DREAM JOB.
I think that before delving into the main topic I will love to talk about my dream job. I have always dreamt of having this kind of job that will give me all the opportunities that I need. Opportunities like always going abroad to do some job maybe for a month or so and come back to Nigeria. A work that will pay me well that I will have no need to be in debt again unless of course for greediness and I don't think I want to be greedy. A job that will introduce me to the high and mighty in the society. I don't why, but this is the only kind of job that I will love to do. It has made me not to take any how job in my locality because the pay and the suffering is opposite. When you are giving a pie nut for salary and you are expected to do five people's job. I have received such offer again and again, but I refused to take them because I am not ready to break down yet because of a job. This is not to say that I don't have any good job doing. Well we will come to that.
MY REAL JOB FOR NOW.
All thanks to my good friend who was kind enough to introduce me to the #hive Blockchain three years ago. I started it when I was still in year two in the university and today even as a graduate I still love hive Blockchain because it has made me self employed and I have the liberty to make my post at any moment I wish in a day. As a mother I think that such online job gives me the time to take care of my family very well. Just like today I decided to do my post very early because I know that today is going to be a very busy day. This is what I am talking about. Doing it my own time and my own way makes it more fun.
A LESSON ABOUT PEOPLE THROUGH MY JOB.
Like I said earlier, #hive Blockchain serves like my office now which is located in my phone. I have learned a lot of things about people. Before I came to the Blockchain I use to believe that people will have to see things my own way. But coming to the Blockchain I discovered that for each topic giving every week, we see it differently. We can not all see things from the same angle, we all have our own minds differently from each other.
Another great lesson that I have learnt so far is to respect everyone here. From the very moment I was unboarded, I saw someone making comments and say that we all need to respect each other and no hate speech for any reason. In the real world were we all belong, we talk to people how we want especially when we know that such person have really hurt us. But here we are not allowed to do so instead we can address the issue in a more responsible way.
