What is good folks coming at you with another server update, So I was able to conquer the initial challenge and things seemed dandy but something was on my mind the whole time it sounded like the server was louder then before, so I started to investigate nope fan scrip is fine and fans are fine... but still I am not a 100% but it just sounds louder then before, I keep inspecting and searching with the AI.
Well the AI was like look playa maybe its the power supply you got 2 of em bitches in that hoe... that's what the AI really said what can I say I prime it to talk back with some flavor if you don't believe me I can share some pics... but I don't think I am going out my way much more for the gag 🤣
I do prime my gemini but not like that although I do prefer the sista voice, Vera is ma girl don't play 🤣 What is your fav gemini voice lettuce know in them comets.

Ok so this server got a controller that is like its own mini computer and can manage the server even if its off, will no go into depth its called a Drac, So I go in there and I am able to tell the server use only power supply 1 or power supply 2, it has 2 so if one craps out you got a backup, you can get away with one, but I use theses setting in the drac to isolate the fans, it is power supply 2, bit of a bummer not a big deal but I rather not have extra noise for no reason, so I figure I will have a look, I pop them out, the just slide out that is part of the perks of the system if one craps out you can switch it out for a new one without having to power down, well I was not running anything on the server that needed uptime so I just shut it down to try to inspect and blow them out in hopes of sorting it out and learning more, well it looks like the fans are easy to replace and probably not too expensive but its even better, I use my blower pop them back in power on a few minutes after the boot quite!!!
No need for anything just some maintenance next time I will just pull out one at a time if it is actually serving up ,and just try to keep it cleaner I do blow them out but these pop out so that is something I should be doing a bit more often
Also very happy I got it back to where it is working fine and not crashing out when I push it a lil ... push it a lil you don't get a beast to push it a little so I was not having it but that raid reset seems to have done the trick. Still much to build and migrate from the old server I will just have it as a backup it is nosier I got it fairly quiet these units not really made to be quiet but I manipulated them so much that the old one is fairly barrable and just has to spin up a little to cool down a bit unless I am pushing it , but I don't really push it now.
And the new server now after the blow out! sounds more quiet then my main computer! unless it is doing AI stuff then the GPU fans can go off but that is more so if I am doing some serious image or video generation usually neat and I mostly I use some other online tool I got for making that type of stuff but it's good to have the capability to DIY.
My inleo subs can have something like 1080 version with sounds included made! and much more for only 5 HBD!
