What is good folks not ma server 🤣 On Friday I took the kids to a movie night at a school not far from home, while we are there I get a telegram notification that lets me know my server went down, I am think that's odd maybe some internet issue, I had to leave it alone until after the movie.

Well I come home and the internet is just fine but the server is not responsive even when I plug in a screen directly I got stuck on a login screen, I reset the server and still the same things, now at this point I am starting to sweat a little I give it another restart and it comes back somewhat...
So I got it back up and connected, most the services and apps worked but some did not and also things just seemed extra slow and glitchy.
So what gives ? Well I was trying to get AI to install lyra 2.0 I am not even sure it will be able to work on my setup as this model is more so made for commercial grade chips but the architecture is still compatible so I wanted to give it a go, I had gemini CLI try to get it sorted but it kept struggling and it looks like when I left for the movies gemini really fucked trying to get the lyra installed it caused a cascade of issues that crippled the server pretty bad even after the restarts I could not even get videos to play 🤣
Well I got that sorted but my pinokio app got ruined and that is a bummer as I have a whole load of apps and AI models installed on there, I am still trying to get it back up and running with my apps, I am just glad I moved my noyzy ecosystem off pinokio or my noyzy app would be down even longer... it too had some issues as well after the gemini fuck up but I was able to get that sorted, pinokio is the biggest issue as I had to jump through a bunch of hoops to make it work right in a headless environment.
It is what it is, comes with the territory and also with sloppy management, realistically I should be doing experimentation and messing around on a separate machine but them shits expensive... but maybe I get me another server it's a bummer juggling AI apps or not being able to run the bigger stuff but also not really feeling like spending thousands but we see how it goes I was thinking maybe I need to find someway to get the government to subsidize my AI eh
