Do you know those days that don’t even warn you before they go from 100 to zero? Yeah.......,this particular day was one of them I was fine when I woke up, Okay, maybe I was not 100% fine very fine, but I did not think much of it at all, so the rain had been falling back-to-back for like many days, so yeah... the cold was expected, but that morning, the cold was just too extra, Like the kind of cold that goes straight to your bones.
Still yet , I brushed it off, I just told myself that it is just weather wahala and not a big deal, so I got up, did my usual stuff and even joined my Discord friends to catch cruise, I even remember saying there in the chat,that " this cold is not normal o. I have never been this cold before.” And trust these friends, lol, some said I should take hot tea, some others were saying I should wrap myself like baby with duvet.
See I was even laughing there like all was well , I did not even know I was slowly entering one kain sickness., I even stood up later and went to cook , I made something small can’t even remember what exactly now but I know I could not eat much of it , my body was just doing off off, I had no appetite, no vibe, nothing, but I still didn’t want to believe something serious was going on.
As the day moved on, the cold no gree leave my body, I wore one hoodie, then I added another layer, still I didn’t feel warm at all, my hands were cold, my feet were colder, and I was just dragging myself around the house like one old womanlike that's lol ...then next thing, my head started feeling like they were knocking metal inside, that was when I knew this wasn’t ordinary again.
So I got into bed and covered myself with blanket, wrapper, hoodie, socks everything I could find that could trap heat, I was sweating inside the clothes but still shaking, That was when the fever hit mw full force, see my body was hot, but I was still feeling cold, It was like confusion everywhere, you should have seen me that day.
I could not wven open my phone again to chat with my Discord friends, I just stayed there groaning and thinking, “God, what’s going on?”
By the time night reached, I knew I had fully entered the sickness zone, my body wasn’t mine again, I just accepted it and prayed that I would feel better by morning.i didn't feel better , I have to call a nurse to come come to treat me because I couldn't move.
See till today I am still recovering from the sickness, the thing just came from nowhere, one minute I was catching cruise online, the next minute I was under five layers of clothing and still feeling like I was inside a freezer I can nor even explain how everything changed in just a few hours.
That day started somehow...What an unbelievable day!
