
Before sitting on the bike I was tossing whether to ride today or not. So windy just standing on the road was a struggle. Riding into a strong headwind I enjoy, it's like resistance training. A tail wind is something we all embrace, like surfing the waves rush. It's those unexpected side winds who's sole purpose is to push you in front of traffic in travellingeither directions.

Due to the conditions I took a safe route up Reservoir Road riding in a valley hoping the hills would stop most of the swirling wind. Good move and it's been a while since I've visited the Brookfeild Scout Centre.

As you can see by the data below it was pretty slow going, ave speed of 18.2t5km.hr, ouch. But that's OK, I got out there.
