I've found the groupings aren't noticeably different. The accuracy on follow-up shots is noticeably better since the added weight helps with some of the muzzle climb.

It's pretty fun. It's not practical for most people. I mainly got it because where we go camping it’s not uncommon to see a brown or black bear. It won't take down a bear, but it'll hopefully at least scare it and buy me some time to escape.
