Hello friends here @dailyblog community. It's your humble girl @happy080.How are you fairing today?
Today marked the end of the continuous assessment test for the special kids and for me as well.
Sincerely is as if I was also writing the test myself because I was actively involved with the kids while the test was going on.
I basically do alot of movements and drawings. Its a good thing I already knows how to sketch (drawings) otherwise, it would have been almost impossible to convey knowledge with this medium.
The following are some of the strategies I undertake to help these special kids have a better understanding and be able to actually write down what they have learnt in their previous classes. They include:
• Demonstrations
• Signals with both fingers
• Images
• Physical gestures
• Facial gestures
• Computer displays using pictures or
photos
• Eye contact for concentration
• Detailed explanations( both written and oral)
• Most especially an encouraging tap at the back for assurance to prove that they are not alone in the difficult task that the face(the test mood)
• And offcourse a "you can do it" motivational words to lift their spirits.
Just to mention a few amongst the basics tasks that I do
SO BASICALLY THESE WAS HOW MY DAY WENT DOWN TODAY.
