Time was 11 p.m., and I was still awake, trying to finish off all my pending tasks for the day. I was seated on my chair with my hand resting on the table that’s very close to the window, while I was facing the window. There was a ray of light from a streetlight a little distance away, and before I knew it, a pussycat ran out from the dark and stopped where the ray of light was, facing the direction of my window. I was wondering why it stopped and was looking in my direction. Maybe it was because my phone was playing music and it heard it from there and decided to stop. It was so unfortunate that the ray of light wasn’t bright enough to capture it clearly. I tried several captures but didn't come out clear.

From the window, I waved my phone and flashed light at it, but it didn’t move, and I was amazed. I wanted to go outside to meet it, but I knew that once it heard the sound of the door opening, it would run off. I just stayed put, admiring it as it seemed to be admiring me back too — or does it mean that it had another intention apart from enjoying the music that was playing from the window? Lol. It didn’t stay long before it ran back into the dark from where it had come.
