The act of caring for strangers #hivereachout #107
Responding to this very topic, one has to understand the actual meaning of the topic.
Just being kind and empathetic from one to others is an act of caring and it's also an act of showing kindness to people, both those you know and those you don't know, from time to time.
If there were no such actions from one person to others, and vise versa, this world would have been in so much tumoil, all kinds of chaotic harassments, would have been very normal one to anothers. Our environment would have been much more unreliable than we are seeing or complaining now.
The act of caring for one another or strangers has been a very long lasting cultural beliefs, it's one of the cultures and attitude that had been holding lives together from the time we don't even know about.
In our villages in those days, people trusted one another with almost everything they owned, people told the truth one to another, and life was excellent for them everywhere they lived. There were senergy about what ever people do. There was togetherness, being someone else's brother's keepers were the order of the day. People relied and relaxed with their fellows
Growing up, I could still vividly remember how some nursing mothers could hand over their new born babies to another woman that's available or at home in the neighborhood and then could go ahead either to their farm work or fetching water from a very far distance streams or even going to get firewood for her family from the bushes far away and no evil would be done against her new baby or her younger children. People were trusted, and their lifestyle was pretty peaceful.
This act of kiindness or care is very far fetched these days. I mean, there's no more true trust in our neighborhoods, and in the societies today, everyone is afraid of one another. Our neighborhoods are restless and unstable. Such cultural heritage we were enjoying growing up has almost gone into extinction...
No more true trust and reliability with one another, you would never know what people are thinking or planning in their hearts against you and against what you own.
Sometimes, we usually could come across some one that's very stranded by one reason or the other, seeking for or desiring some helps, we may surely render some helping hands with wisdom, I suggest, but it's advisable you don't just embrace who you do not know properly to rener deeper kindness or care in this generation "The days are extremely evil".

Many had given helping hands to strangers and ended up being killed, kidnapped or their precious properties stolen unannounced and unpredicted, it's very disheartening and confusing the very way such horrible things do happen.
Ordinary boarding of a Keke napep, a city commuter tricycle from one point to another and answering a fellow passenger who claimed as not knowing his way about in the City landed someone i know into hipotonization and being kidnapped.
She never knew that all the passengers, both the driver and other passengers except her in the Keke napep were in the same group of misleading innocent unsuspecting citizens who answered their flimsy questions. Just by that exchange of words, she entered into their traps unknown to her..
Immediately you exchange words with them, you become hypotonized, not knowing where you are or what is happening to you again. That's how they operate on innocent people. Although she was looking and seeing them. She was seeing them insulting her personality but was very weak and unable to talk or react against them.
They had weakened her senses at those particular hours till they ended their illicite and uwaranted evil actions on her. They ended up robbing her of all she had, it was only God that helped her not to be killed
After all the insults, they dropped her at a bus stop left her there, she then recovered her senses, and could know where she was, then noticed that she had been molested. They had already left the scene very fast. She walked a very far distance on foot and was helped to locate her family. Very pathetic story but very real
The act of helping strangers these days is terribly dangerous in this country but we must continue to help genuine people that are stranded but consciously follow your heart. Don't just jump into it without first of all searching your heart and the spirit of God in you, to get proper understanding and answers. Don't be too emotional about it for you not to slip into serious troubles.
