This is a bridge that I have often photographed and posted before. It was the first bridge built across the Irrawaddy River in Myanmar. It is also known as the Sagaing Bridge or the Innwa Bridge. Now, due to a strong earthquake, it has collapsed in the middle of the Irrawaddy River. The bridge, which has served its purpose for many years, must be considered retired. This week, I am sharing a photo of the broken Sagaing Bridge or Innwa Bridge
ဒီတံတားကို အရင်က ဓာတ်ပုံရိုက်ပြီး တင်လေ့ရှိတဲ့ တံတားတစ်ခုပါ။ ဧရာဝတီမြစ်ကို ဖြတ်ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ ပထမဆုံး တည်ဆောက်ခဲ့တဲ့ တံတားလည်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ စစ်ကိုင်းတံတား သို့မဟုတ် အင်းဝတံတားဟုလည်း ခေါ်သည်။ ယခုအခါ အင်အားပြင်းငလျင်ကြောင့် ဧရာဝတီမြစ်လယ်တွင် ပြိုကျခဲ့သည်။ ၎င်း၏ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်ကို နှစ်ပေါင်းများစွာ ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့သည့် တံတားအား အငြိမ်းစားယူခြင်းဟု ယူဆရမည်ဖြစ်သည်။ ဒီတစ်ပတ်မှာတော့ ကျိုးကျနေတဲ့ စစ်ကိုင်းတံတား (သို့) အင်းဝတံတားရဲ့ ဓါတ်ပုံကို မျှဝေလိုက်ပါတယ်။
