Tengo que comenzar diciendo que, como esta semana no hicimos la caminata científica en la reserva, tuve la necesidad de hacer esta "cacería" de "sombras" en el predio. Estar cerca de la naturaleza saca desde el interior lo mejor de nosotros. Aquí me puedo concentrar y ver esos detalles preciosos que tienen los caminos que nos conducen al interior de este enorme terreno natural.
I have to start by saying that, since we didn't do the scientific walk in the reserve this week, I felt the need to do this "shadow hunt" on the property. Being close to nature brings out the best in us. Here I can concentrate and see those beautiful details that the paths have that lead us into this enormous natural terrain.

Este ha sido un mes muy complicado en cuanto a las "emociones"; como saben, estábamos disfrutando el "mundial" de "futbol", y como verdaderos apasionados lo vivimos intensamente. Hemos estado disfrutando los encuentros cada semana, y cada uno de ellos ha sido una verdadera celebración que finalmente requiere ¨equilibrios¨ emocionales.¨
This has been a very complicated month in terms of emotions; as you know, we were enjoying the World Cup, and as true fans, we experienced it intensely. We've been enjoying our weekly get-togethers, and each one has been a true celebration that ultimately requires emotional balance.

Este ha sido parte de la razón de querer caminar por aquí en cercanía a la vida natural y silvestre; el sonido de la naturaleza y estar alejado del bullicio de la ciudad ayuda a "renovar" las "energías". Además de todo lo relacionado con el futbol, no quiero olvidar la celebración del ¨Día¨ del ¨Padre¨, porque días como estos uno se olvida de la dieta y retiene más calorías de lo normal, algo que hay que corregir con caminatas.
This has been part of the reason for wanting to walk here, close to nature and wildlife; the sounds of nature and being away from the hustle and bustle of the city helps to "renew" one's "energies." Besides everything related to soccer, I don't want to forget the celebration of Father's Day, because on days like these, one forgets about their diet and retains more calories than usual, something that needs to be corrected with walks.

No tienen una idea de lo que fue de este mes, muchas emociones y celebraciones juntas; recibí la visita de mi hijo Iván y su familia, pasamos días realmente increíbles. Ahora que se han marchado, nos quedamos con los excesos que tenemos que eliminar con días continuos de caminatas. Qué genial es haber llevado nuestra ¨cámara¨ : a la reserva y fotografiar estas preciosas proyecciones de sombras para el concurso.
You have no idea what this month has been like, so many emotions and celebrations all at once; I had a visit from my son Iván and his family, we spent some truly amazing days together. Now that they've left, we're left with the excesses that we have to work off with continuous days of walking. How great it was to have taken our camera to the reserve and photograph these beautiful shadow projections for the contest.
