Esta mañana estaba pensando qué hacer para participar del desafío de "sombras". Estaba parado junto al ventanal que da al jardín trasero, viendo con la mirada perdida, y podía percibir algo tenue que con el paso de los segundos se tomaba más agudo; un pequeño susurro, algo así como cuando alguien te llama a lo lejos. Pronto pude comprobar que se trata del susurro de la naturaleza, y cuando ella te llama, es muy difícil de ignorar.
This morning I was thinking about what to do to participate in the "shadow" challenge. I was standing by the window overlooking the back garden, staring into space, and I could perceive something faint that grew sharper with each passing second; a small whisper, something like when someone calls you from afar. I soon realized it was the whisper of nature, and when she calls you, it's very difficult to ignore.

En el jardín me esperaba una preciosa pradera verde y flores silvestres, creando un ambiente natural agradable. Por momentos pensé que estaba caminando en la reserva, pero algo interrumpió mis pensamientos, haciendo darme cuenta de que caminaba en el fondo de casa. Ante la sencillez de la flor, no pude evitar hacer algunas tomas de su belleza; fue cuando descubrí esos bellos ojos viendo mi pasión por la belleza que tenemos en nuestro fondo.
A beautiful green meadow and wildflowers awaited me in the garden, creating a pleasant natural atmosphere. At times, I thought I was walking in a nature reserve, but something interrupted my thoughts, making me realize I was walking in my own backyard. Faced with the simplicity of the flowers, I couldn't help but take some pictures of their beauty; it was then that I discovered those beautiful eyes, seeing my passion for the beauty we have in our own backyard.

No pasó mucho tiempo en volver a sentir esa sensación que uno percibe al ser observado; para cuando pude darme cuenta, otro hermoso ejemplar felino emprendía su traslado por el paredón de casa. Si bien ha sido ágil en sus movimientos, pude hacer algunos disparos certeros captando la belleza de su pelaje brilloso y llamativo.
It wasn't long before I felt that sensation again, the feeling of being observed; before I knew it, another beautiful feline was making its way along the wall of the house. Although it was agile in its movements, I managed to take a few well-placed shots, capturing the beauty of its shiny and striking fur.

El brillo de su pelaje no me permitía dejar de observarlo, hasta que, como buen cazador, pude ver el "patrón" de "sombras" que creaban sus movimientos; algo que pude captar con nuestra ¨cámara¨ : que siempre está preparado para situaciones como estas. Estas son las cosas que me apasionan de cazar sombras: que nunca sabes con el tipo de sombras que te vas a encontrar.
The sheen of its fur kept me watching it, until, like a good hunter, I could see the pattern of shadows created by its movements; something I was able to capture with our camera, which is always ready for situations like these. These are the things I love about shadow hunting: you never know what kind of shadows you're going to find.
