I love being able to meet up with all the Shadow Hunters in this great ¨ShadowHuntersCommunity¨: This week is very special, since we are celebrating our seventh anniversary in our community, so I decided to share our hunting experience over the years. The first thing I have to say is that for us it has been an easy task, given that in my city there is sun most of the day and year round.

To say that we are experienced "shadow hunters" is an exaggeration. As you know, you never stop learning and always find ways to improve your photographs. Furthermore, as time goes by, new shooting techniques appear, and you have to adapt to them to be up to the task.
Lo que puedo decir que con el correr de los años hemos aprendido mucho, y fuimos mejorando notoriamente nuestras tomas de sombras, pero no todo se trata de técnica fotográfica, al vivir en una ciudad donde las cuatro estaciones están presentes, ante cada una de ellas uno se tiene que adecuar al momento de salir de caceria

What I can say is that over the years we have learned a lot and have noticeably improved our shadow shots. But it's not all about photographic technique. Living in a city where all four seasons are present, you have to adapt to each one when you go hunting.
En estos momentos estamos a pocos días de que finalice el ¨verano¨ y comience el ¨otoño¨, en este aspecto nuestra vestimenta ha ido cambiando, pasamos de vestimentas livianas a ropa un poco más abrigada, sobre todo si la ¨cacería¨ de ¨sombras¨ las hace en una mañana muy temprano; otro cambio significativo son los elementos que llevamos para desayunar en la costa, el ¨terere¨ y las ¨media-lunas¨ en ¨otoño¨ y en ¨invierno¨ es suplantado por el ¨mate¨ y el ¨chipacito¨

Right now, we're just a few days away from the end of "summer" and the beginning of "fall." In this regard, our clothing has been changing. We've gone from light clothing to slightly warmer clothes, especially if we're hunting for "shadows" very early in the morning. Another significant change is the items we bring for breakfast on the coast: "terere" and "media-lunas" in "fall," and in "winter" they are replaced by "mate" and "chipacito."
Aunque mi ciudad tiene lugares hermosos para visitar y organizar una ¨cacería¨ de ¨reflejos¨ y ¨sombras¨, una excelente alternativa siempre será la ribera de la ciudad, porque en este lugar se puede hacer casi la mayoría de las fotografías para los diferentes concursos que participo. Although my city has beautiful places to visit and organize a "hunt" for "reflections" and "shadows," an excellent alternative will always be the city's riverbank, because this is where most of the photographs for the different contests I participate in can be taken. I chose this last photo for this awesome ShadowHuntersContest¨: It's always great to have a place to share the shadow casting shots we take throughout the week. Happy 7th Anniversary!
