The start of this week was a little different than others, since we had to visit the city not only to take our photos but also to participate in this great ¨concurso¨: This time we had to share the time with other activities we did on the same day.
Hace algunas semanas tuvimos que acompañar a Luis en unas de sus ¨visitas¨¨médicas¨ que tenía que asistir en la ciudad, como hacía tiempo que esperaba no se lo quería perder, por esa razón salimos muy temprano aunque allí tuviéramos que esperar
A few weeks ago we had to accompany Luis on one of his "medical" visits he had to attend in the city. Since he had been waiting for a while, he didn't want to miss it, so we left very early even though we'd have to wait there.
Como no estábamos muy seguro de cuanto podría tardar mi ¨abuelo¨ en el laboratorio, con Gaby tuvimos la idea de salir de la ¨clínica¨ para ir a un lugar que vimos cuando pasábamos con el ¨autobús¨. Se trata de una plazoleta que esta a un par de cuadras de distancia, pero por lo que vimos creíamos que valía la pena caminar hasta allí
Since we weren't entirely sure how long my "grandfather" would be at the lab, Gaby and I came up with the idea of leaving the "clinic" to go to a place we saw as we were passing by on the "bus." It's a small square a couple of blocks away, but from what we saw, we thought it was worth the walk.
Como era muy temprano no había ¨luz¨ ¨natural¨ y todo el lugar estaba a ¨media¨¨luz¨, esto creaba un ambiente muy especial, ideal para hacer fotografías de ¨reflejos¨, y casualmente eran las tomas que precisábamos
Since it was very early, there was no "natural" light and the entire place was in "medium" light. This created a very special atmosphere, ideal for taking "reflection" photos, and those happened to be the shots we needed.
Como mi ¨abuela¨ nunca sale sin su ¨teléfono-móvil¨ : y siempre esta preparada para hacer tomas para este hermoso ¨Shadow HuntersCommunity¨: hizo preciosas tomas. Me encanto que hayamos decidido adelantarnos para hacer estas fotografias, dado que cuando termino sus compromisos mi abuelo ya había amanecido y nos hubiéramos perdido estos ¨reflejos¨ a media ¨luz¨
Since my "grandmother" never goes out without her "mobile phone": and she's always ready to take shots for this beautiful "Shadow HuntersCommunity": she took beautiful shots. I'm delighted that we decided to take these photographs early, given that by the time my grandfather finished his commitments, he was already awake, and we would have missed these dimly lit "reflections."
