Catching Dark shape at the Beach: Entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh Round 385

in Shadow Hunters2 days ago

Greetings,

How are you doing my friends?

You have certainly remarked that the summer vacation is the perfect time to explore many locations, and the beach is close to my home.

I did not know what I will discover during my visit to the beach. I went a bit far from the entrance I usually pass to get to the brown sand.

The Ocean was noisy on this new location. The sand looks very uniform on this part of the beach, rarely populate by walkers.

The first photo above is my entry in the contest. I appreciate this opportunity allowing the publication of Shadows.

It was a surprise to see this damage coconut trees on the beach. The Ocean has carried this piece for a long time, slowly breaking apart the structure of this strong tall tree.

It was such treasure I was expecting moving out of the regular space I am walking on the coastline.

There are many others sections of the coastline that I have never visited because of the distance outside of town and also security if you do not show up in this area with a contact from the local resident.

I was looking for anything interesting to capture on my camera. The lens of my device found a nice shadow on the mysterious half destroyed trunk, waiting for the next tide to return to the Ocean for a new destination.

If you have checked the sand you will see how it was pure on this area compared to the previous location I visited last week.

The current section of the beach I am visiting is far from the favorite spots of the tourist. There is almost nothing in this area for anyone to sit or take cover from the heat from the sun.

The hunt on this part of the Ocean side of town was successful. I am not sure to come back to this area for further exploration because of the busy schedule for the weeks in August.

It is interesting to make this difference between the popular area and the non frequently visited place on the beach. I will plan to visit if possible others section of the beach on my next exploration on the Cotonou city Beach.

Do you find significant the differences between the popular area and the empty spot on the long space identify to serve as border limit Ocean and Land?

It is a short article I shared with the community in this edition of the Shadow hunters to your appreciation.

All the best to the participant to this edition.

Interesting, I can see you are enjoying the summer vacation. Beach areas are one of the best places to be on the summer, it rhymes well with the hot weather.

The shadow of the picture you captured was top-notch. Best regards @oadissin
