Palmwine is a sweeten brownlike liquid extract from the palm tree. It is a symbol of friendship, unity, prosperity and harmonious relationship. It is African!
When friends gathered to unwine and chat a way forward, one thing that keeps greasing the flow of mutual communication is Palmwine.
When a traditional marriage rite is observed, one of the things that brightens the faces of the groom and bride families and kingsmen and cement the exchange of mutual consent for the release and taking of the bride is Palmwine.
When elders gather at the town square for any ceremony in the community, Palmwine is not left out.
Days ago, I was a quest among the friends of one of my guy who's wife just delivered of a beautiful baby girl. As we meet that evening to welcome the bsy girl and the mother as well as congratulate and felicitate with the family, amongst other consumables provided, Palmwine plays it role. It was provided in a cooler, chilled and inviting. There and then the shadow portrail itself as the light shines on it.
