I had the privilege of reading a friend's post. She made mention of something relating tax payment. That made me to recall the unkind situations we usually encounter when talking about tax payment and the management of the funds. In many countries of the world, a lot of people are enjoying the benefits of their tax. They are happy to pay the taxes. If there are issues, there are limited. But when we consider some other countries (especially among the African nations), you will observe that the ruling class enriches themselves with the proceeds of the taxes. This is not actually a right thing.
These are some of the reflections which we are when looking at the government through our mirror of judgement. Should we not judge? If we are to keep quiet, how long are we going to suffer under the burden of corruption. If you are not aware, I'll let you understand that many of the African nations are very corrupt. A system where the leaders cares little or not about the welfare of the citizens.
You might asked: "Why don't you vote them out?" Well, whether you vote or you don't vote,they will still win. The entire system has been wired in corruption. They have officials in the electoral system that rig the election for them. They will definitely take over the power through their corrupt means. So, we are just left at the mercy of criminal occupying offices.
Absolutely, this is a very ugly reflection from our government and management of public resources.
