Hello hivians and Shadow Hunters Community. Here is my entry for SMASh 416. I just hope that I'm not altogether late. But it is as if this round has not been officially closed by @melinda010100.
The sun has been high today. In fact since in the early hours of the day, we have been having a very hot and sunny weather. I had wanted to do some labour work around our compound but I have not been able to stand in the hot weather. I have been hopeful that at some point, it might come down. No, it has not come down since.
We are just beginning to have the rain in this part of the world. In fact, we are still expecting the real rain that can really support farming activities. So, some people have started to prepare the ground for the planting season. Usually, those who want to plant yam would have started by now. I had planned that I will not go out today. I wanted to help my senior man to cultivate some portion of the land for him to plant his yam. But oops, the sun is too hot for m to work inside. Well I'm still around hoping that it will subside later in the day (maybe towards the evening).
