El resto, una silueta | Poesía [ES/EN]

_{A Raúl, el Yuca (y a alguien más, que tiene otro nombre).}

La muchacha
que una vez estuvo vestida de negro,
me sirve otra taza de café.
Le pido un doble de aguardiente,
no para tomármelo
sino para darle a los santos,
por aquello que dijo Raúl:
comprar un trago,
tirar una foto,
guardarla.
Él
pensaba en un niño;
yo,
en tantas madres,
padres,
discursos inconsecuentes,
historias
en las que es mejor no pensar...
Pido otro café.
Me lo sirven en una taza esmaltada
con plato de cerámica.
Ambos elementos provienen del mismo lodo
y nadie repara en su contraste.
La chica
se balancea frente a la barra,
discute con su novio
sobre algo que tiene que ver con un Chacal
o un Yakarta,
me da igual.
Le pido otro trago,
este sí es para beber,
y sonrío por aquellos
que no conocen a Raúl por su nombre.
Al final,
un nombre es ilusión.
El resto,
una silueta.

The girl
who once wore black,
serves me another cup of coffee.
I order a double shot of aguardiente,
not to drink it
but to offer to the saints,

fathers,
inconsequential speeches,
stories
that are better left unthought...
I order another coffee.
They serve it to me in an enameled cup
with a ceramic saucer.
Both elements come from the same mud
and no one notices their contrast.
The girl
sways in front of the bar,
arguing with her boyfriend
about something that has to do with a Chacal
or a Yakarta,
it's all the same to me.
I order another drink,
this one is for drinking,
and I smile for those
who don't know Raúl by name.
In the end,
a name is an illusion.
The rest,
a silhouette.
